Integrated management of the coastal areas and visit of the World Bank

As part of the integrated management of the coastal areas project, the World Bank carried out, from 24th to 26th of November 2017, a mission to the eastern region of Morocco to monitor the financed projects.

The INRH (Institut National de Recherche Halieutique) participated in the mission as a member of the monitoring committee for projects related to the marine environment.

It is involved in technical support for the beneficiary associations. The interventions concerned by the mission were: the shellfish aquaculture project in Ras El Ma, the project for the extension of the algoculture plant in the Marchica Lagoon and the project for the installation of artificial reefs in Boudinar. The associations and cooperatives benefiting from these projects participated in the meeting and highlighted the importance of technical monitoring of the various actions.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
