Women protagonists in the trasformation unit of fish products in Jdaria

The new unit for the processing of fishery products was inaugurated in the community of Jdaria.

The operation is part of the project funded by FAO and CIHEAM Bari, in collaboration with the CRDA Médenine. Considering the difficult life conditions in Jdaria, the project aims to support rural women and to guarantee them a stable financial source.

One of these women said “Many things have changed, the new processing unit of fisheries products in Jdaria, will give us and to our children, good job opportunities, both today and in the future. Moreover, the project encourages us to work together for a common goal: this spirit gives us greater enthusiasm in continuing to work “.
